

Emily Neagle MMus FRSMBA(hons)
Musical Director of Junior and Senior bands
Emily Neagle is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and the University of Southampton where she studied Saxophone. She is now a professional freelance musician enjoying a varied career teaching and performing.
Most recently, Emily performed at the Royal Albert Hall with the Momentum Saxophone Quartet who are currently preparing for the European Saxophone Congress in Trento, Italy, in July 2020.
However, before Emily went to university she was also a member of Christchurch Music which helped her to developed her love of music. Emily now aims to help to develop and challenging our members by bringing a variety of repertoire, while creating a fun and enjoyment to rehearsals.
Andrew Thorne
Chairman and Brass Quintet Leader
Andrew studied tuba, composition and arts management at Dartington College of Arts. He has extensive experience of working with young people through the Canned Performance Company, brass teaching and has been playing in wind bands since the mid eighties.

CMC Dog
Bailey is a frequently spotted sporting his very own CMC shirt during band performances to the general public. A popular member of the CMC family and very appreciative of the occassional fussing or two.
