CMC Safeguarding Policy

Ensuring that everybody attending a rehearsal or concert is a safe and enjoyable experience is of utmost importance to CMC. We work hard to make performing with CMC an enjoyable experience which you will want to continue long into the future. Your security and safety is at the heart of these aims.

The main principle of our safeguarding policy is to act as a set of guidelines for our staff and volunteers who have substantial contact with children and young people.

We have a duty of care towards all children and young people who play in our concerts or take part in our musical events. Parents and carers have a right to expect that staff and volunteers who run activities for children and young people will not abuse their positions of trust and cause physical, sexual or emotional harm to those in their care.
