Emily Neagle 

MMus FRSM BA(hons) 

Musical Director of Junior and Senior bands

 

Emily Neagle is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and the University of Southampton where she studied Saxophone. She is now a professional freelance musician enjoying a varied career teaching and performing. 

​

Before Emily went to university she was also a member of Christchurch Music which helped her to developed her love of music. Emily now aims to help to develop  and  challenging our members by bringing a variety of repertoire, while creating a fun and enjoyment to rehearsals.

Andrew studied tuba, composition and arts management at Dartington College of Arts. He has extensive experience of working with young people through the Canned Performance Company, brass teaching and has been playing in wind bands since the mid eighties.

Cheri Wallace

Musical Director of First Access Band

 

Cheri Wallace was born in Andover and studied music at Colchester Institute and Surrey University, studying flute with Edward Beckett as well as recorder and baroque flute with Gerry MacDonald. She performs with Salisbury Baroque, as well as Questa Musica and Salisbury Sinfonia on the modern flute. A keen composer she has won several prizes Cheri Wallace was born in Andover and studied music at Colchester Institute and Surrey University, studying recorder and baroque flute with Gerry MacDonald. She performs with Salisbury Baroque, as well as Salisbury Sinfonia on the modern flute and has a keen interest in composition where she has won several prizes and had lots of wind band music published. Most recently she has written and cowritten with her sons 19 books for woodwind and brass.
